This is the kind of you want to keep supporting because the food always comes out piping hot. The service is hospitable and welcoming, and that's just the way the owners prefer it. Along with a homestyle style, the restaurant puts a premium on the freshness of its ingredients, leaving the menu simple and satisfying and not decision fatigue-inducing. In the 4 or 5 times that I've stopped in, I go for the shredded-to-perfection beef ribeye bathed in a tangy-creamy sesame sauce over a boatload of brown steaming rice and piping hot mustard greens cooked for peak color and tender-snappiness. Altogether, this is the work of a passionate small business owner that has mastered a few things well, and actively solicits customer feedback to maintain their product at a high level. Who says a lack of change can't be refreshing?

5/9/24 - Lisa and Sandy are like your aunties cooking you your meal! They're so relatable and the food tastes like home cooked meals with no MSG. Vegetables are home grown which they prepare every morning. Service is typical Chinese eatery service. Quick and simple. Menu is straight forward. No hassle. However, not a good place for large groups as theres only four chairs and two tables in the two car parking lot. Some street parking nearby. Paid parking meters in front of the storefront. Traffic is moderate to busy. Update: 5/10/24 - I was craving the bok choy so badly, I ordered it again. For the third time. In one week. Vegetables are usually not the highlight but Their baby bok choy was so crunchy, juicy, and sweet, I craved it so much I had to order another meal from them. I have ordered the chicken, pork loin, beef rib, short rib, shrimp. I honestly think they are all very delicious but I would not order shrimp again but that's my personal preference. My coworkers also think the same! They raved about the baby bok choy. Very fresh, crunchy, veggie goodness.

I imagine parking can be a pain in the butt in this area when it is very busy. The restaurant itself only has 2 spots adjacent to their business and only a couple of outdoor tables under a tent. I ordered the large grilled short ribs with brown rice and mixed veggies of bok choy, Shanghai green choy and Chinese mustard greens. It cost $14 and is a substantial and pretty generous amount of food for one person. The food was freshly made and delicious BUT the short ribs were way too salty. I loved the veggies and saw on their Yelp page that they come from their own farm - they were obviously very fresh and tender. I'll try another protein next time with hopes it won't be nearly as salty as the short ribs which were otherwise perfectly tender and had a lovely smoky, grilled taste.

I went for a second visit and ordered a large chicken baby bok choy and brown rice and s. pelligrino sparkling water (complimentary by the lady/chef). Thanks for the kindness. Food was very flavorful and delicious like a real fresh home cook meal. Yummy! Overall, I enjoyed their tasty food. A great spot to grab a healthy, delicious meal.

This tiny little unassuming location was a nice hidden surprise! I was actually walking up to the sandwich spot next door and saw their menu and decided to give it a try, WOW! I ordered the pork loin with extra meat, white rice and baby bok choy. I love how perfectly cooked the rice was, the baby bok choy was so fresh and crunchy, and the pork had great flavor! Plus the little hot sauce they give you adds so much flavor - it isn't your typical sriracha, thankfully. Plus the lady that took my order was so nice and pleasant. I'm definitely coming back to this little spot!!

Delicious food! I got the short ribs with baby bok choy & egg noodles. Loved it! Want to try the Ribeye next time! Hubby got the Shrimp, rice & baby bok choy... Loved his too! I had a shrimp of his! Fresh and tasty! The proteins, veggies, & carbs were perfection! Glad I could truly trust the rating on Yelp for this location. I mean usually I can but I was surprised to see a nearly 5 star place near the hospital... Easy quick drive here. Parking is on the street of the two-three spots next to it are taken. There are two outside tables. It seems this is geared for takeout or pickup... We ate at one of the small tables and that worked. The lady who helped us moved the two tables out of the sun and into the shade and cleaned one for us. Very nice lady. Definitely will come back & highly recommend.

Drop everything and go here for a MEAL. I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this place because I just had the best lunch I've had in months. The ribs were that perfect but of crispy and sooo delicious. Bok choy was flavorful. There's very limited parking up front or a small parking lot in the back, but there's also lots of street parking. There are two tables with a couple chairs for people to eat at, but it's more of a pick up spot.
